
Applications are invited for a clinical professorship in Molecular Oncology at the Faculty of Health Sciences, the University of Copenhagen, and Rigshospitalet to commence as soon as possible.
The clinical professorship consists of a salaried professorship at the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Department of Surgery and Internal Medicine and a consultancy/chief of laboratory in the Capital Region of Denmark with service at Rigshospitalet, the Finsen Centre.
It is a requirement for appointment that the applicant is accepted for both the professorship and the consultancy/chief of laboratory. In order to be considered, the applicant must therefore send an application both to the Faculty (the professorship) and to Rigshospitalet (the consultancy). This also applies to applicants who are already employed as consultants at the Hospital.
Salary and employment terms
The area of employment for the consultancy is the Capital Region of Denmark with service at the above-mentioned workplace. Appointment to the position will take place as agreed with the negotiating organization. The position of consultant does not entail on-call duties.
For the professorship the appointee will receive a pensionable annual salary of DKK 170,884.50 (1 October 2009 level).
